Explore the Butterflies valley
“Petaloudes” means butterflies in Greek and is how locals refer to this really unique place in Paros. It is a biotope where a natural phenomenon takes place every summer when the valley is verdant. The Jersey Tiger Moths, which is a species only found in a few places around the world, occupy the whole valley! As you will walk around the beautifully designed park you will come across thousands of them and you will get more information about this rare phenomenon.
